Thesis Exhibition at the Cooper Union, April 1st 6-8pm

I’d like to invite you all to my thesis exhibition at the Cooper Union on Tuesday, April 1st.

My exhibition will be a video and performance installation. Although some pieces of the installation may remain in the space until the following Saturday, the performance will only occur once, on tuesday evening for the duration of the opening, roughly 6-8pm. Refreshments will be served.

Boat | River | an Indefinite Space: 2013 Menschel Fellowship Show

Upcoming Exhibtion! Together with five other projects from the recipients of the 2013 Benjamin Menschel Fellowship, I’ll be showing work by myself and my crew from our voyage down the Danube this summer aboard the schooner Hippo. The show will be up for two weeks on the 5th floor of the Cooper Union Foundation Building. Please stop by and check it out!

BACK IN NYC

Well, I guess I’ve been back for a while. There’s been some developments, a show about the ongoing Voyage of the Hippo at Standard ToyKraft in Brooklyn, and a lot of work sorting out various projects and tying up loose ends from the last 9 months. I’ve posted two new films on vimeo: HIT and DEVICE, both of which were shot last fall and have been edited over the course of the last year. More coming, as always…

Next month I’ll be finishing out my stay here in Berlin with an exhibition at the SPRECHSAAL, showing three video works I’m involved with. I’m recreating the HOW I GOT UP ON THE ROOF installation which was shown this Spring at the Cooper Union in New York. This is a project I’ve been working on for the last six months with PK and it’s exciting to see it going up here. We’re also adding to the mix two new works, ESCALATOR which I created with the composer SAGARDIA here in Berlin, and an installation piece called DEUTSCHE BANK PARSIFAL that I’ve been working on with Martin Pasek. The Benjamin Menschel Fellowship

I’m excited to announce that our project from last summer, the Voyage of the Hippo has just been awarded the Benjamin Menschel Fellowship. We’ll be continuing the trip this summer, and focusing our experiences into an exhibition next winter at the Cooper Union in New York!
